About James Bowen

Mentoring the next generation of Inspectors. A significant part of my time is now spent transferring my experience and knowledge to others. This is my favorite part of being a Level My goal being to leave the industry a little better than when I entered it. I am over 20 years deep into my career as an inspection professional with a broad array of experience and certification in bridge safety inspections, construction material testing and non-destructive testing. I am a naturally curious person who is always looking to learn new things and gain deeper understanding of my craft. I am in the generalist camp and enjoy finding links and connections between seemingly different subjects. The process of constructing a new building is always a complex and sometimes difficult undertaking. I enjoy the collaborative process of working on a construction team and providing effort, expertise, and solutions to see a new structure being built. Knowing I have had a hand in the process of the development and improvement of a community is very gratifying.
