About James Boyd

Graduated high school. Shortly afterwards joined the US Army, after 4 years active duty, I was discharged. Next I attended Community College two semesters. Summer of 1994 I went to work and didn't return to school. I landed a maintenance position at a major hospital and research center. I stayed there 12 years. Here I began to learn people skills, and IT I left there for a better maintenance position with the state government of MS. I worked around the state legislature for the next 5 years, honing my people skills and furthering my IT knowledge. After 5 years I was given an opportunity to return to my hometown of McComb, MS. There I finished a state retirement with the MS Department of Transportation. In 2001 I began to work part time in a maintenance position with my current employer ACMS. Over the years and more and more knowledge of computers, people skills etc. I was offered a full-time position at ACMS provided I got some formal training it IT. I seized the opportunity, got a certificate HIT and here I am.^ years and counting. I have be blessed beyond my wildest dreams.
