Based in the Singapore office of Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, James Bradley is a partner in the finance team. He specialises in advising on a variety of maritime and aviation transactions. James’ experience has been gained as external and in-house counsel in roles in Asia and Europe advising leading financial institutions, aircraft and engine lessors, airlines and shipowners on a variety of transactions. His practice concentrates on the transportation and finance sectors, he is experienced at advising on various aspects of aviation financing and leasing across jurisdictions in relation to aircraft, engines and corporate jets. He has extensive experience of aircraft transactions in the Asia and has worked in the region since 1996. James has been involved in many high-profile restructurings in the aviation and maritime sectors. He has acted for administrators and for financial institutions restructuring their debt book and/or sell part of their business in various jurisdictions. James has in-field experience in the PRC with the UNIDO programme office. He was advising on the airline industry's proposed entry into the EUETS. He is involved with lobbying at governmental levels and as project manager to ensure their compliance with various legislation. Recognised by Chambers & Partners for his experience in relation to (i) aviation finance and (ii) EU emissions trading.
