Guide the team to be successful to measure professional success. CAREER HIGHLIGHTS Radiology Operations Manager with focus in Computed Tomography (CT). Support our main campus with an array of discipline practices and quality control. Support a CT council to help reach our 6 off site locations to ensure information and image quality is consistently performed throughout our discipline. Perform Radiology and Computed Tomography examinations according to protocol to include outpatients, inpatients, trauma and ED patients Assist the radiologist with imaging procedures, interventional CT procedures, starting IV's, and injecting contrast, if applicable; charge for procedures and supplies appropriately Maintain continual QC assessments of all equipment and statistics for ACR Accreditation Assist with clerical functions, as well as clean and restock the CT area. Supervise department staff and students from Cape Fear Community College Assist with the coordinating work schedules Build and maintain technical protocols; evaluate for technical quality and accurate patient records, complete all paperwork and verify transmital into PACS Served as on-site and off-site applications training with new install GE equipment Confront difficult tasks and patient issues as they develop; providing orientation and training to new CT technologists; education and training to students Served on Employee Council (2009-2011) Perform budget requirements for Radiology Department USN, maintained quarterly budget Successfully reviewed and updated policy and procedures required for on-site Computed Tomography department submission for ACR Accreditation Assisted with on-site Radiology Physicist site survey, preparing the department for ACR Accreditation process Served Proudly in the United States Navy as Hospital Corpsman
