Jim Buckley is the principal and founder of Donegal Holdings - a family office that oversees a diverse portfolio of businesses and investments across various industries. Established to manage the family business interests of the Buckley family, Donegal Holdings is an active investor in Crypto, NFTs, Startups, and Public equities. The company's investment strategy focuses on identifying early-stage companies with the potential to disrupt their respective markets and create significant value over the long term. Donegal Holdings actively partners with and invests in companies that have a proven track record of growth and innovation. Some of the notable companies in Donegal Holdings' current portfolio include RefCheck - glass verification in the cannabis space, Compoze Labs - a computing integrator at scale, SmiForce - an AI reporting company, Pubtek - an AI data tool for the food and beverage industry and Majority Strategies, a digital advertising consultancy firm. All are firms in which the company serves as a senior advisor or investor. In addition, Donegal Holdings is also the founding investor in Protogenes, a blockchain art platform, and Phiquest (a Teams as a Service company that develops blockchain and AI applications), where Jim serves as the company's Chief Marketing Officer and is also a partner. As an investor in start-up Internet firms, Buckley was responsible for the development of the company’s technical infrastructure as well as the due diligence on that firm’s investments. Buckley holds a BS from Northern Arizona University in Economics and History and an MBA from the University of Phoenix.
