About James C. Driggs

James "Jim" Driggs, grew up in Hanover County, located approximately 10 miles north of Richmond, Virginia. He is a distinguished graduate from the Virginia Military Institute where he served on student government, was an officer of the Tri-Beta National Honor Society, NCAA Swim Captain and Lieutenant in the VMI Corps of Cadets. Jim received his Juris Doctorate degree from the T.C. Williams School of Law at the University of Richmond. While in law school he served as class president, wrote for the Journal of Law and Technology, was the research assistant for two prominent criminal law professors, and earned a special certificate in Intellectual Property. Mr. Driggs is a general practice litigator. He routinely argues contract disputes, landlord/tenant conflicts, debt collection claims, juvenile and domestic relation cases and criminal/traffic charges. Jim is a certified real estate settlement attorney and competent preparer of corporate/business forms, wills, trusts and other estate documents. He also has experience handling certain misconduct claims by Virginia educational institutions and government departments. When not practicing law, Jim is a devoted Christian and dedicated husband and father. He spends his personal time as an Instructor for the SEALTeam Physical Training program, he is an active member of the Hanover Bar Association and on a sunny day you will find him driving around his beloved 66' Mustang GT "Caroline."
