Serves as an Instructor conducting student training for active duty, National Guard, Reserve and International students attending the Aviation Operations Specialist (15P) Course. Prepares lesson plans, teaching aids, and presentations for classroom instruction involving any and all aspects of tactical and fixed-based airfield operations concerned with such functions as flight planning and reporting, aircraft scheduling and movement, tactical procedures, flight records, and administration. Employs training aids and equipment, including training simulators, television, film and document image projectors and audio players/recorders and tapes. Prepares for classes by reviewing lesson plans, instructor guides, course materials, references, and training aids. Administers grades, and critiques written and performance examinations. Attains and maintains subject matter currency through review of changes to reference sources and contacts with related activities. Evaluates student progress.
