About James Caws

I love digital technology, good governance and healthy company cultures. And another thing I love: helping people and businesses operate more effectively. My strengths are in the communication, management and delivery of technically complex projects and subjects, particularly in the transport asset and cyber-risk space. I bridge the divide between technical specialists and stakeholders specialising in other areas and at all levels of management. By day I work in government, facilitating the advancement of transport infrastructure asset management. By night, and generally at all other times, cyber security governance and awareness is my passion. I’m on a mission to support company directors, executives and leaders by educating and empowering them so that they can influence important, systemic and cultural cyber change within their organisations. I’m industry agnostic and enjoy applying lessons learnt from one to another. I served 4-years on a not-for-profit board in health and disability. My diverse professional experience coupled with my innate passion and knowledge of cyber security puts me in a good place to help directors and execs “get it”.
