I am a passionate tech entrepreneur, currently Co-founder and Marketing Director of Usalama Technology Limited and Jumuisha Limited. Jumuisha Limited is a Fintech company targeting religious institutions like Churches, providing their followers with innovative payment and communication solutions. We have reached over 150+ Churches with total end users in Kenya, on both our Jumuisha App and USSD platforms and the Kanisani booking solution rolled out during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic. Usalama Technology Limited is behind the flagship platform Usalama, which is the first of its kind, personal safety platform that leverages on IOT to help connect victims of emergencies (crime, medical, road rescue, etc) to emergency service providers (public and private) conveniently. Through this, we have processed more than emergency distress calls since inception and changed the emergency response landscape in Kenya. Usalama Technology Limited also provides digital consultancy services with platforms deployed for the Kenyan National Government, Financial Institutions, Banks, Corporates and Educational Institutions, with our impact touching millions of lives through our digital innovations and solutions. I am a One Young World Ambassador and the closing delegate speaker (Hague 2018), International Franchise Association (IFA) NextGen Franchising Award 2018 winner, Hague Institute for Innovating Law (HIIL) Innovating Law award winner 2018, UN Habitat Innovating Counties 2017 winner, Royal Academy of Engineering finalist 2017, SIBC fellow and mentor and Westerwelle foundation fellow.
