A tax lawyer with experience dealing with tax planning and tax controversy management. Focus on international tax aspects of cross-border transactions, including cross-border M&A, integrations, spin-offs, legal entity rationalisations and intellectual property value-chain planning. Representative clients are in the TMT, Healthcare / Life Sciences and CPR sectors. Current interests are BEPS 2.0 implementation and international tax policy. Work involves implementing large-scale global multi-jurisdiction projects, including financing arrangements, intellectual property migrations, and acquisitions and divestments of assets. Adds value through the formulation and execution of tax strategies, mitigating tax risks and if required, defending structures on tax audits. Obtained his Bachelor of Laws from the National University of Singapore, and Master of Laws in International Taxation from New York University. Qualified to practise law in Singapore.
