About James Chorma

Spring 2020 graduate from UCF with a Bachelor Science in Electrical Engineering. I also graduated with a Minor in Music as a brother of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia. My senior design project composed of a team building a smart toaster oven. This included adding an LCD display, phone and website interactions, sensors, touch pads, and a digital timer. An independent project I'm working on is the building of a laser harp; a musical instrument composed of lasers with play a musical note when the laser is broken, via help from an Arduino and a synthesizer. I'm currently working at Levil Aviation where I have been their Lead Circuit Board Technician since 3/1/2021 where we design and manufacture innovative aviation solutions. As the Lead Technician, I teach and assist a team of other technicians in their daily tasks including PCB assembly, programming, testing, and repair. I'm also skilled in production scheduling, tracking inventory, customer support, scheduling shipments, working with the R&D team to ensure a smooth transition for new projects, quality checks, and testing/diagnosing failures in products produced on the production line.
