About James Crowther

I designed, built and ran a significant part of Australia's first deep tech accelerator program at the CSIRO, Australia's national science agency. This program is now available to over researchers in Australia. I then designed and built an innovation program for the NSW Government as part of their 2017 innovation strategy. I am currently building a technology startup that is rapidly growing its user base and providing software to artists that work with computer graphics. I have facilitated innovation courses at the University of Sydney and run their Genesis Startup program, a 7 week accelerator program with a AUD zero equity prize offered to the most promising team. My background, I trained as an aeronautical engineer, was involved in an early stage startup building proof of concept prototypes before studying strategy and innovation, after which I worked on a number of high profile government innovation programs, after which I returned to the technology startup space to launch a new venture aimed at unlocking the potential of distributed and shared computing.
