About James Dee

I’m a driven operations leader with over a decade of progressive experience in the logistics and transportation industry — from the warehouse floor to national strategy. Currently serving as National Operations Deployment Lead at Purolator, I’m responsible for overseeing high-impact project deployments, integrations, and implementations across Canada. My career began in 2012 as a PM dock worker at Canpar express. From there I became a courier, then joined FedEx in 2018 to begin my leadership journey. Starting as a front-line manager, I advanced to Senior Manager of Operations and gained experience as a Quality & Process Specialist — refining both my operational expertise and strategic thinking. What sets me apart is that I’ve lived every level of the operation. I know firsthand what it takes to lead engaged, high -performing teams, solve complex problems under pressure, and foster a culture that people want to be a part of. I’m passionate about continuous improvement — in processes, in people, and in myself. As I continue to grow, I’m focused on expanding my skillset, leading with purpose, and driving sustainable change at scale.
