Hello, I’m James Dill, thank you for taking the time to visit my page. I’m a dedicated aircraft maintenance professional with a passion for success. I excel in the fast-paced, demanding world of corporate aviation by working with professionals in a dynamic team environment, providing both world class safety and service. My career in aviation began in the United States Marine Corps as an avionics technician and plane captain on Sikorsky CH-53 Helicopters. I have 23 years of experience as an aircraft mechanic and avionics technician on various fixed and rotary wing aircraft. I have extensive Bombardier global and Challenger 604/605, Sikorsky S-76, Agusta AW-139 helicopter experience as well as Gulfstream IV, V, 550, Boeing 737 Business Jet,Falcon Jet, Hawker and Citation aircraft experience. My current position at General Electric as an Aircraft Maintenance Coordinator has given me the valuable experience of overseeing the maintenance and inspection requirements of an aircraft assigned to my care. In addition, I am the point of contact for any and all issues regarding the aircraft. I have travelled to numerous locations, domestic and international in support of our company aircraft in. In addition to my duties as an Aircraft Maintenance Technician and Aircraft Maintenance Coordinator, my duties include extensive Avionics troubleshooting systems such as the Honeywell Primus Primus Epic, Rockwell Collins Pro-line 4 and 21 systems. I have many years experience working on Cabin electronics such The Rockwell Collins Cabin Management System, Honeywell Satellite TV, Satcom and Hi –Speed Data Networking. I have a detailed understanding of different engine types, including CF34-3 models, Rolls Royce BR-710 and Honeywell APU’s. I am knowledgeable in the aspects of fluids, direct current electrical systems, alternating current electrical systems, troubleshooting of electrical, mechanical, trend analysis and health usage-monitoring systems (HUMS).
