About James Dillon

I help organizations utilize technology, manage risk and achieve aligned behavior in support of their business goals and objectives. I support Internal Audit activities through program design and direction, applying real-world experience in software development, database design, and program management of IT architecture and identity management, to promote effective governance, risk, and control outcomes. I have developed three program opportunities and serve better in that capacity than in a pure assurance check-box fashion, particularly in identifying culture-informed internal audit solutions.I bring real-world experience, a support manager aptitude, knowledge of traditional standards and leading methods, and a deep desire to assist the organization in achieving its key objectives. I do this by translating technical risk into business terms, helping management with risk treatment decisions, and by promoting effective, aligned behavior to proactively manage risk. Affinities include support leadership, governance, risk, and control analysis and consulting, audit program and approach design for internal audit, and support for strategic and service objective achievement and risk treatment decision making. Technical affinities include IT/Cyber security, identity and access management, data design and analysis, application management, and development lifecycle in a QA aware environment.
