After more than a decade in law enforcement, I’ve learned that good police work isn’t just about response, it’s about being proactive, building relationships, and using the right tools to solve real problems. I’ve spent most of my career in a plainclothes investigations role, focused on crimes that don’t wait around: auto theft, organized retail crime, violent fugitives, and anything that crosses city lines. Over time, I started leaning into technology. I saw how much faster and cleaner things go when you have systems that work. License plate readers. Drones. Video platforms. Even AI. I’ve used them all, and I’ve helped others figure them out, too. I like building workflows, optimizing systems, and passing on what I’ve learned. I’m not a tech guy by training—I’m a problem solver who just happens to get along well with the tools that help me solve them. Whether it’s developing better processes, building trust across agencies, or teaching someone how to think differently, I’m wired for the practical side of innovation. Outside the badge, I’m a husband, a dad, an AI enthusiast, and a recreational prompt engineer. I believe in doing meaningful work, using what’s in front of me to make people safer, and constantly learning what’s next.
