About James Diviney

I am a UK PICM Grid trainee close to the end of my training. I started PICM training from a paediatric training background. I have worked in PICU and CICU at Great Ormond Street, working within nationally commissioned and highly specialised services including ECMO, VAD, transplant and metabolic medicine. I have previously also worked at St Mary's PICU. I ranked 1st nationally in the highly competitive PICM Grid application process in the year I applied. I undertook the rest of my Paediatric training across London. I have 6 scientific publications on the topics of perinatal brain injury, educational outcomes, urine collection methods and childhood cancers. I have presented at international PICM conferences on the topic of paediatric cardiac arrest and peripheral noradrenaline infusions. I have written a book chapter on the principles of paediatric intensive care. I have excelled academically throughout my career and completed my medical degree at the University of Cambridge with a distinction in my MB BChir and double first class degree in my B.A in Physiology and Neuroscience. In my post graduate training I have completed a PG Certificate in Medical education at UCL, passing with merit. I gained MRCPCH in 2016.
