My passion is the twenty-first century. As new realities emerge, business will be challenged in ways which were unimaginable when I first started practicing law 20 years ago. With increasing mobility and powerful new analytical tools, the future will bring unprecedented prosperity if we guide our actions to build wealth in support of our common values. As an attorney I enjoy working with entrepreneurs to help transform a vision into an impactful reality. My goal is to deliver customized solutions that are effective and add value. My experience is focused on insurance, where I have worked in a wide variety of roles including regulator, attorney, manager and director, giving me a broad perspective on what makes an insurance business thrive. My recent legal work includes:+ Advised technology startup in recapitalization and reorganization of the business.+ Represented nonprofit organization in successful application for legislative grant-in-aid.+ Represented medical services provider in investigation by the Department of the Attorney General of the State of Hawaii.+ Counseled clients in development of contracts for engineering services, development of software systems, employment and real estate investments and offshore investment vehicles.+ Advised and represented employers in work visa applications before United States Immigration and Citizenship Services.
