I am an experienced law enforcement executive with over 23 years of service, currently serving as Assistant Chief of Police with the Richmond Police Department. My career has spanned patrol, investigations, internal affairs, SWAT leadership, and strategic operations, all grounded in a commitment to ethical policing, accountability, and public trust. I lead Logistics and Support Services, overseeing fleet management, budget oversight, equipment acquisition, and technology integration for a mid-sized agency of approximately 90 sworn officers and civilian staff. My role centers on ensuring operational readiness, effective resource allocation, and long-term strategic support for the department. A graduate of the Southern Police Institute’s Administrative Officers Course (Class 153), I hold a Master of Public Administration and am pursuing a second master’s in Criminal Justice at the University of Louisville (expected 2026).
