I have always found teaching others new ways to save time and use technology rewarding. I started my career with Aetna a couple years after graduating high school. Working as a claim processor, and customer service representative, I built a strong foundation in customer service skills. I transitioned into the I.T. department at Aetna in 2007 as a Desktop Support Specialist. I was able to leverage my previous knowledge and experience with the customer service facing systems to identify gaps and suggest areas for improvement and automation. Eventually, I moved into the Virtual Operations and Engineering area. Where I help design, administer, and support Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop environments accessed by customers around the globe.
