About James Douglass

My purpose in life is to bring glory to Jesus Christ and to honour Him. I would love to have my career in blue team defence, particularly in DFIR. I want to learn how to use/write automated behaviour-based detection tools as well as meet with clients and discuss cybersecurity options for their business. I would also like to learn on-premises and off-premises rapid incident response. I am a motivated, hardworking student with skills in leadership and with plenty of initiative. I have completed a XVenture Certificate of Active Leadership, as well as serving in my school's Student Representative Council and Prefecture. Being a leader in this school environment made me learn how to develop feasible projects with a given goal, and also how to submit to the leadership I am under. I am also a part of Camden Youth Council, and I have been involved with my local church, in various volunteer positions including kids' ministries, youth Bible study leading, music and PowerPoint/sound desk. These positions have particularly helped me to work in a big team for a common goal, and to see how each team member interacts. Particularly if I'm leading the music team, I have learned the times when I should not be the one playing my instrument because it is better for the church and the song for other instruments to be playing without me.
