About James Dring
With experience supporting C-suite executives and directors in the Civil Service and Higher Education sectors, I am currently working as a Personal Assistant at the University of York in the PS Central Admin Service supporting three executives and contributing to the development of an evolving new service. I am seeking to build the capability to lead positive change in the organisations, places and communities that matter to me. Outside of my day job at York, I am a Fellow at Derwent College sitting as a permanent member of College Council, the body responsible for overseeing the alignment of local activity with Derwent’s mission and the University strategy. Council also monitors the use of the Derwent’s operating budget and provides a structured forum for the discussion of College business. I also volunteer with Friends of Rowntree Park and City of York Council.
