Much of this is achieved through the use of Claris FileMaker, which I first used in 1994 and which is a marvellous tool for solving all sorts of business & operational problems, once you've spent the time understanding not just the problem but why it exists, and the context in which the solution will sit. I do quite a lot of consultancy work on the latter, which mainly involves being very nosy. As well as FileMaker, I also specialise in InDesign layout automation following my "previous life" spent in publishing.
