Greetings! My name is James Early, and I'm excited to connect with you on LinkedIn. For the past 19 years, I've been working as a Data Specialist for a school district in the Houston area, where my analyses helped campus and district leaders to make data-driven decisions and to increase state exam scores and graduation rates while reducing the dropout rate. While I've loved my time there, I'm ready for a new challenge. • After some serious soul-searching, I've decided to make a career change and dive headfirst into the world of Data Analytics. I've always been drawn to analyzing data and discovering the story that it tells, and I know that my analytical skills and attention to detail will serve me well in this new field. • To prepare for my transition, I've been studying Data Analytics in the Data Career Jumpstart program, and I've been blown away by what I've learned so far. I can't wait to start applying my new skills to real-world problems and making a meaningful impact. • When I'm not thinking about data analytics, you can usually find me researching, writing, or recording my podcast Key Battles of American History. I'm a huge fan of war movies, and I love spending time with my wife and four daughters. • I'm excited to connect with others in the data analytics community and learn as much as I can from those who have come before me.
