About James Edwards

Thank you for taking the time to look at my profile. I have almost 8 years of quality control experience working with fantastic companies such as GE Healthcare, First Source Electronics, and most recently Zentech. I have specialized in inspection of electronic components most of my career. I have learned an abundance of valuable information throughout my career path. I would have to say my favorite part of the job is pulling the team together to assist in problem solving when a part is not up to specification. My passions include multimedia technology, and I do have a bachelors degree in that field to reflect this. I however want to keep all options open so I finished my masters degree in business administration. While supporting myself and my family as I was obtaining my degree, I moved up and gained experience in the quality control field. I also have experience as a team lead working for Martin's catering throughout my career. I enjoyed having my own team to lead. The responsibility of making sure the events were set to perfection as well as making sure food service ran smoothly throughout the event was something I enjoyed immensely. Although the branch has closed down, my fond memories of my time there remain. My skills include, Adobe Photoshop, Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Oracle, Cold Fusion, Illustrator, Autodesk 3DS Max, as well as time management, team collaboration and organization. My goal is to advance my career while learning multiple fields of interest. I appreciate you taking the time to learn a little more about me.
