About James Esbrook

I am a dedicated Security Professional with significant experience in Corporate Security and related fields. The design and implementation of security, Access control and Video management Systems was where I started. I have also worked on business continuity, investigations, emergency management as well as developing incident command centers across the organization. I have worked on a variety of Projects and managed even more programs throughout my career. I became involved in the security industry to help protect the company's assets, People and reputation while building a more robust and effective security program leveraging technology where we could to be a force multiplier. This has led me to become involved in a variety of projects that have reinforced the mission of our Security Team. In addition, I conducted numerous training sessions for field utility workers and personal protection for executives. Some of my significant achievements over my career have been to design, contract and build out the security and access control systems at the Integrys Headquarters prior to the acquisition by WEC. Another milestone was the design and build out of the Peoples Energy Training Center in Chicago. As part of the Business Continuity project team I was responsible for the build out of Incident Command Centers throughout the organization allowing local authority with the backing and support of the larger more widely dispersed organization. Some of my rolls and responsibilities involved liaison with local and federal law enforcement agencies and being designated the subject matter expert on CFATS (a program run by DHS).
