About James Ferryman

I am the Manager for Precision Ballistics Laboratories. Working as a part of a very small and close team I have over all responsibility for all things "compliance". My role however has no boundaries and I am often found in the "breach" during trials helping to deliver industry leading ballistic testing and services for traditional and novel threats. This includes maintaining tight protocols, not just meeting but exceeding internationally recognized standards such as the various NIJ and STANAG. Previously the Waterpark and Operations manager at Brean Splash and before that Operations manager for Everyone Active. Responsible for all Health and safety, compliance and maintenance within Cirencester Leisure Centre whilst maintaining strict budgets. At Brean Splash I managed a large team of operational staff and support all HOD managers both with in the Brean Splash/Play complex and across Holiday Resort Unity. Going from a huge multi national leisure provider to a family run business was a huge change in culture for me and one that I thoroughly enjoyed. Driving buisness, customer satisfaction and team development whilst protecting P&L is my forte. Delivering and exceeding expectations is my reputation. Developing and maintaining a strong network of contractors to ensure 100% compliance both statutory and for the client is part and parcel. When I am not at work I am a country lad through and through. Always in wellies and a flat cap, at least one of my dogs with me if not 2,3 or 4.
