Mr. Fleer has more than 30 years of experience in the environmental and safety industry including designing, implementing, and managing environmental investigations and remedial projects; developing auditing protocols and procedures and performing comprehensive environmental and safety audits for regulatory compliance and best management practices; conducting environmental and safety assessments; preparing and performing job hazard analysis; participating in and leading accident/incident investigations; and, preparing environmental impact statements. Mr. Fleer was responsible for developing and managing the comprehensive environmental and safety program for a Fortune 150 company with manufacturing, distribution and office facilities throughout the United States. Mr. Fleer has performed work under CERCLA (including Project Manager/Primary Contractor at three National Priorities List sites), RCRA, Solid Waste, Clean Water Act, Clean Air Act, TSCA, FIFRA and various State regulations and programs. Mr. Fleer has managed or participated in projects involving enhanced reductive dechlorination; in-situ chemical oxidation; in-situ natural and augmented bioremediation; pump and treat; pump, treat and reinjection; sub-slab depressurization (indoor air management); soil-vapor extraction; air sparing; soil venting; waste minimization; pollution prevention; resource recovery; process safety management and reviews; waste-to-energy; wastewater treatment; pyrolization; and solid waste management. Specialties: Developing programs for and managing environmental, health and safety issues including managing issues to limit or eliminate business risk, reduce costs, and improve productivity.
