About James Forsyth

A highly experienced network and systems administrator. I have worked extensively on Linux and Windows server environments, and a variety of network infrastructures in their every stage and state. From conceptual design through installation, on-going support, and administration. I am a natural writer, with a smattering of technical writing experience and hobbyist blogging. Not to mention the production of many an explainer, how-to, and communique relating to technology processes, developments, incidents, and the like. I enjoy designing, building, maintaining, and improving varied systems in dynamic environments, with a particular inkling for anything Linux. Through Linux, I discovered a passion for open-source and moreso the innate inclusivity I believe it and the surrounding communities, philosophies, and methodologies can foster (even, or maybe especially, among us shut-ins).
