My prime directive to ensure that each utility-grade solar and wind farms and battery storage(BESS) area is built to specifications per contract. Duties include, but are not limited to: All Cx testing of utility grade solar and wind farms. Write Cx plan for each site and inverter startups procedures, substation switching order for plant synchronization to the power grid. Firm up plant schedule and daily meetings with construction and all other departments, sub-contractors and third-party testing companies and plant owners. Oversee sub-station and plant construction start till plant is ready for hand over to customer. Review sub-contractor procedures and documentation. Train sub-contractors in testing procedures and remediation. Train personnel and approve daily work authorizations for anyone working in energized areas. Train and implement company approved LOTO program. Compile and review all turn-over documentation provided to owners. Assist in training O&M personnel in daily plant operations.
