I am a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant with a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Marian University College of Osteopathic Medicine (2023), actively seeking opportunities in the biomedical, biotechnology, or healthcare sectors in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. I am driven by a passion for advancing medical research and clinical applications, and I’m eager to contribute to groundbreaking work in areas such as rare diseases, genetics, and oncology. Throughout my academic and professional journey, I have developed strong laboratory expertise in techniques like sterile and aseptic protocols, SDS-PAGE, and Western Blotting, and am skilled in applying these methods to real-world research and clinical environments. My goal is to continue expanding my laboratory skills while making meaningful contributions to healthcare and biotech innovation. My interest in rare diseases and genetics is deeply personal, stemming from my family's experience with Snyder Robinson Syndrome, a rare genetic disorder. This has inspired me to explore genetic research and its potential for improving patient outcomes. Additionally, I’ve gained valuable insights into oncology through shadowing an oncology surgeon, which has further fueled my desire to pursue cancer-related research and treatment. In addition to my medical certification (Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, 2022), I have extensive coursework in Medical Scribing (2019), providing me with a comprehensive understanding of clinical environments, patient care, and medical documentation. I have a strong foundation in molecular biology, research methodologies, and data analysis, and I’m passionate about applying these skills in a biotech or clinical research setting. As I continue to evolve in my career, I am focused on upskilling in cutting-edge areas of biotechnology and clinical research.
