Today I am a person in long term recovery, and what that looks like to me today is that I abstain from drugs and alcohol. Only because of my Recovery, I get the opportunity to be a productive part of my community, family, advocate for recovery on a local, state and national level for legislative and stigma change, and a devoted father. I attended Metropolitan State University of Denver, majoring in Human Services with a concentration in Addiction studies and Non-Profit Administration. I've stayed involved in my recovery community since 2012 working primarily with Advocates for Recovery Colorado as a Peer Recovery Coach (CPFS), SHIFT (Flatirons Church) AA, NA, All Recovery Meetings, Oxford House inc, The Phoenix as well as other local Recovery Community Organizations.
