He has over seven years of experience in designing and implementing, research, monitoring and evaluation (M&E) systems for large-scale, multi-year international health sector development programs (approximately $10M per year) in the following technical areas; family planning, TB, HIV/AIDS including OVCs, maternal and neonatal health as well as Advocacy. James has experience working directly with the Ugandan government (Ministry of Health) as well as an array of international organizations (e.g PATH-Uganda, KNCV Tuberculosis Foundation, GOAL International-Uganda and Maries Stopes International-Uganda.) and donors such as Department for International Development (DFID), RAISE/Columbia University, European Union, United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and United States Agency for International Development (USAID). James has transferable skills in quantitative and qualitative research (formative and summative), operations research, capacity building (research & M&E skills), data quality assessments, data analysis (SPSS, EPI data & STATA), data interpretation and presentation, technical assistance, and program performance monitoring and evaluation. James has strong analytic and writing skills in English. He is a highly organised, motivated, trustworthy, hardworking individual and an excellent team player, who brings into the workplace efficient delivery of outputs and promptly meets deadlines.
