Recently transitioned from a 15 year refrigeration career, to an HSE safety associate at Itron. Looking forward to a new career path and a new company. EPA certified Service technician with almost 15 years field experience of install, start up and service, along with safety training, forklift training and experience in reading blueprints and supervising multiple crews to ensure jobs are being completed. I began my career in commercial refrigeration at 19 years old In 2011 with DEEM Mechanical as a helper. From there moved to CE Holt in Charlotte and worked with them for 3 1/2 years. A great opportunity with Carolina Refrigeration pulled me away from them and for a 1 1/2 years worked for those guys. Great company and people, the opportunity to come back to Holt and work with great friends and people I really respect, along with the opportunity to climb the ladder to become what I want to be in the industry brought me back to CE Holt. I'm willing to work and do anything and everything to make my team as good as it can be. I want to grow and develop continually. I have Lead safety teams and training weekly on site with multiple crews and jobs. Moved to start up technician in January of 2018 to learn how to do the more technical side of things. Pumping up systems. Vacuums. Valves. Core filters. Compressor changes. Etc. Moved to service technician in August of 2018 to try and fully round out my development in pursuit of learning absolutely every side of refrigeration, hvac, safety and plumbing that I can. As well as understand every aspect available. Trying to learn and get as much experience in all fields as I believe you can never stop growing and learning. Merged with Coolsys from CE Holt after acquisition in 2023. I have moved from a level 3 technician to a level 5 technician which raises responsibilities training younger and newer techs as well as making sure driver safety and on site safety is very understood by taking courses and going over them every week and putting them into the field to prevent injuries and keep everyone working together. My biggest strengths are just being a big people person. I love to keep morale high and can talk and relate with almost anybody. I can be professional when needed but also can’t read people and understand how to speak to anyone. I also pride myself of not having an ego. I am willing to take out the trash to doing whatever I need to do so the team can get the job done. I just want to be successful and make everyone else successful around me and continuously learning every day
