About James Gillian

I am an expereienced safety professional with an exceptional technology background. I have more than 25 years of work experience, encompassing metal refining, super alloys production, Oil & Gas and the Aerospace industry. I am the nominated Safety Manager for the Design Organisation, working in the Aeronautical domain (eVTOL). Previous to this, I was a Compliance Verification Engineer (CVE) for Safety Systems. I have also had a number of different positions, which have included Safety and Risk Management, Technical Operations, Business Management, Quality & Asset Management, Maintenance, and Safety & Reliability Engineering. This has given me the ability to learn quickly and enables a good understanding of the connection between domains, management frameworks and processes. I am lucky to be currently working in the domain that was my childhood dream, aviation.
