Pure coincidence led to me working on automotive product launches and itchy feet kept me there. I count myself very lucky to have had so many varied and unique experiences thanks to the crazy automotive industry, be it floating in a Maybach across the Great Plains of the USA or driving a topless (and doorless!) Wrangler through a pack of hyenas alone at night in Zambia. Although I have ostensibly given up life on the road to manage ESI's Detroit operation, I am occasionally called back out of retirement if the team is stretched. It is great to keep one's hand in and to reconnect with all of the folks who make being on the road so much fun.
