About James Ginter

James Ginter is a Field Agent with The Abbate Agency serving brother knights and their families in Virginia and West Virginia. He is a trusted financial professional that advises on the importance of financial planning in attaining one’s goals. James was raised in Spotsylvania, Virginia and graduated from Virginia Tech. His chemical engineering career of over 25 years led his family full circle from Virginia to Delaware, Maryland, Tennessee, and back to Virginia. Since joining the Abbate Agency in 2021, James attests that “to utilize my learned continuous improvement skills in the service of others is my dream job. Now I get to serve Catholic families with that same passion to improve their lives by forming a plan to secure their futures.” As a member of the Knights of Columbus since 2003, James has held many officer positions and is a Fourth Degree Knight. James and his wife, Alyssa, live in Mechanicsville, Virginia with their six children: Kaitlyn, Erin, Evan, Gregory, Andrew, and Peter. They are parishioners of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Quinton, Virginia where they are active in the liturgy, religious formation, and pro-life activities.
