2013- 2015 METER READING PRODUCTION COORDINATOR I am a liaison between APS customers, both internal and external, and the meter reading department. It is my responsibility to resolve issues and disputes according to the ACC guidelines and APS policy while aiding in providing a safe working environment for the employees of my department. As a liaison I ensure that our customers understand the requirements for service while assuring that the customer’s expectations for customer service are met in accordance with policy. Additionally I communicate special customer needs to the field employees and provide timely and updated information to aid in their daily meter reading and B-service duties. I communicate as needed with other departments including Construction and the Customer Care Center, to assure the location for upgrades, new services and meter changes would be accessible to meter reading and field services. CIS (Customer Information System) is a tool I use daily in the course of my own duties. Additionally I use MFIMS, ARCS, and ITRON’S FCS daily. I also apply MS Office Suite to create reports for the purpose of tracking workflow and cost analysis. I have been intimately involved with testing and training new programs and technological products for my department, including ITRON FCS, P-4 and CIS to name a few. I use DB Microware to analyze time stamp data for adjusting routes as well as redistricting entire service areas. My duties require that I be well versed in the service plans available as well as which plan(s) serve each individual customer needs. I design schedule and coordinate reports in an effort to facilitate improved methods for tracking and recording production. I continuously analyze the work processes to assure we are working in the most productive and cost-effective manner. In summary I schedule weekly and daily workload for Meter Readers in order to ensure monthly meter readings for all customers.
