I have 9 years of experience as an Electrician doing construction and maintenance. • I have experience working with automation systems, PLC’s, VFD’s, and MCC’s. • I have experience designing, maintaining, and Installing Control Systems. • I have strong interpersonal skills with emphasis on safety. • I am committed to continuous learning by keeping abreast with the latest technology, staying current on safety courses, and always seeking new and innovative technical skills. In terms of skills and experience, I am experienced with programmable logic controls (PLC) and variable frequency drives (VFD), as well as motor control centers (MCC) either through work with AECOM or Raptor Rig where the latest electronic technologies are employed. At Raptor Rig my duties vary from routine maintenance, for which I designed the maintenance program, to troubleshooting system flaws, to repairs of electrical systems as needed. When the rig was constructed, it was my duty to test all electronic components, and if necessary develop innovative solutions to any design failures. During rig operation, I perform maintenance and troubleshoot any issues that arise. I have a valid Red Seal Electrician Certification, I work closely with the Canadian electrical code and IEC. I am proficient with PLC, VFD, UPS and MCC. I have strong interpersonal skills and have extensive experience working as part of a team (AECOM) or independently (Raptor Rig).
