Mr. Grech is a seasoned professional with a successful career that began as a Management Accountant. In 1998, he joined Bank of Valletta, where he has steadily risen through the ranks. Currently, he holds the prestigious position of Executive Head of Foreign Bank Relationships department. His contributions and dedication to Bank of Valletta have been remarkable. From 2004 to 2008, he served as a Director, representing the interests of the workers. In December 2014, he was re-elected to the Board of Directors through the shareholders' Annual General Meeting and continues to hold this position with distinction. Throughout his career, Mr. Grech has actively participated in various committees, including the Asset and Liability committee, Compliance Committee, Credit Committee, and Risk Management Committee of the Bank. Additionally, he played a crucial role as a member of the European Banking Federation Correspondent banking task force and served as Chairman of the board of trustees of the BOV Employees' Foundation. Apart from his contributions to the banking sector, Mr. Grech has demonstrated strong leadership skills in other areas. He served as Chairman of the Malta Industrial Parks and currently holds the position of Chairman of Gozo Channel Holdings.
