About James Hallam

I joined Kimberly-Clark in 2007 and have worked across a variety of different functions and geographies. I am a qualified Mechanical Engineer with experience across operations, research & development, marketing activation & strategy, category & portfolio management and product & business model innovation. I found my true calling moving into a Sustainability focused role in 2021 and was responsible for launching The RightCycle™ Program across Europe. This includes a closed-loop recycling service for paper hand towels and the world's first dispenser recycling service. Presently, I am responsible for the development and execution of the logistics sustainability strategy globally with a 2030 target of reducing Scope 3.4 emissions by 40% vs. 2015 baseline. The strategy includes accurate measurement, optimisation of our logistics network and shifting to more sustainable transport solutions such as intermodal and electrification. Collaborating externally with key suppliers, customers and industry groups will help accelerate the transformation of the entire sector.
