About James Harding

New to the industry in early 2018, I came in with no construction experience. Found myself at a fantastic company, Soils & Structures that came with a wealth of knowledge, support and training. Spent two years in the field performing materials testing on a variety of commercial, residential and MDOT jobs. Certified in concrete testing and density. Moved to the east side of the state for a short summer when I joined our Pavements group here at Soils.Since then, I have been working under a great leader, educator and mentor, Don Dunkin. Primarily focusing on roads and parking lots, I have experience in all forms of pavement rehabilitation. Cement stabilization, lime modification and cold-in-place recycling are a few of the methods in which I work frequently with.From operating our Geoprobe to writing the geotechnical report, I can perform all the tasks to give our clients a detailed and thorough investigative analysis.Primarily in the field during the season, I will be hands on with project management and quality assurance as well as training our new crew members and our summer Co-ops / interns.
