About James Harding

My love of the industry can probably be summed up in a home video to Disneyland where a much younger me is totally uninterested in the ride, and more in how the image stabilisation operated in my Dad’s video camera! I have worked in Film and TV post-production for the past ten years on various content including high-budget features, fast-turnaround documentaries and live broadcasts. In this time I have developed many different skills and built workflows and practices in the companies I have worked for. I have extensive knowledge of many software packages including Davinci Resolve, Baselight, Avid and Fusion.As a workflow specialist, I enjoy being on the cutting edge of what technology can provide and have always strived to push the envelope of what is possible. Increasing productivity and quality, in tandem, is a passion of mine, and I've worked with software providers to ensure we can maximise what they can provide. As a colourist and online editor of a diverse range of content, including an early adopter of HDR, I have a valuable insight into how to improve those workflows and systems. My love of what software can do also helps me as an online editor, to give the best product to a client.
