About James Hatch

Jim Hatch is President/Founder of Hatch & Associates and co-founder of Oleum Technology, an innovative oil field software company. He is a recognized global leader in Human Capital, Financial Mgmt. and Exec. Compensation. He has spent over thirty years leading consulting practices for major consulting firms. He was also the co-founder and CEO of a leading HR Software firm. In addition to founding Hatch & Associates and co-founding TalentScope, and Oleum Technology, Jim was a lead partner in the Human Resources Services Practice at PwC, and served as the CEO of the Saratoga Institute, Managing Partner of Arthur Andersen’s Northeast Human Capital Practice, Midwest Market Leader of E&Y's Human Resource Practice and Practice Leader for EisnerAmper's Human Capital Services Practice. Jim also led the Financial Institutions Practice for the Chicago office of Towers Perrin and served as the Executive in Charge of the Compensation/Sales Force Effectiveness Practice for Hay Management Consultants. Jim began his consulting career as an auditor and as a strategy/reengineering consultant for Deloitte. He also served as an Asst. Controller at the Northern Trust in Chicago. Jim has been a frequent lecturer and professor at several Major Universities including: NYU, CUNY, St. John's,U of Wisc, Geo. Washington U, and U of Colorado, Georgetown U and Harvard U. He is often quoted by the business press. Jim has co-authored a book titled: Delivering On The Promise: How to Attract, Manage and Retain Human Capital. a member of World at Work, the Society for Human Resource Management and the American Institute of CPA’s. Jim is a former US Marine.
