I have a wide range of law enforcement experience, overseeing Sheriff's offices, the Sacramento Department of Airports, County Jails and Canine programs. I am talented at managing people and getting the most from them through advice, mentoring, and creating a culture of inclusion. I am experienced and a natural at building relationships and resolving conflicts and grievances. I focus on creating high-performing teams who maintain high standards. I have a reputation for being honest, straightforward, and supportive. In a crisis, I handle emergencies properly, promptly, and confidently. Some of my accomplishments include the following:• Enhanced safety measures put in place for employees and travelers at Sacramento International Airport through the implementation of innovative policy changes and an expansion of contracts with local and federal security partners.•. Improved the mental health culture with a new Wellness Program by introducing mental health programs consisting of therapy and training to reduce PTSD and other related Law Enforcement wellness challenges.• With limited funds, I innovated and revamped a canine program.• Capitalizing on experience with narcotics, swat teams, and tactical situations, kept civilians and police safe by properly responding to multiple shootings due to critical thinking and quick decision-making in directing resources.
