I then later on transitioned into various behind the camera production jobs and in the process becoming a member of AFTRA [SAG eligible] and ITASE. From 1992 - 1998 I had the wonderful opportunity of spending this time at the American Film Institute - AFI where I enriched my very long love affair of movies and TV and gained an even deeper understanding of the art of "Story Telling" and all of the technical aspects of filmmaking. Since 2004 in the New York - New England area I've been independently hired to produce/direct/shoot and edit various projects ranging from Cable TV commercials, Corporate & Instructional Videos, Music Videos, Web Series, Short Films and Multi Camera Live Event Streaming. In 2009 "Shore Thing", a 30min short film that I co-directed, shot and edited won Best Short Film in the suspense category at the New York International Film Festival.
