The vast majority of people who order takeout meals from restaurants feel guilty by the amount of garbage created. Even the containers that say "100% compostable" end up in the landfill because the vast majority of city composting programs can't handle them. But this is because they don't have a choice.until now of course. Earthware gives people the choice, without giving up any convenience, to have their meal delivered in a reusable takeout container. Once they have enjoyed their meal they simply notifiy Earthware that their containers are ready for collection and we will pick them up, wash and sterilize them, and then put them back into circulation. For restaurants, the last thing they should want is for their customers to feel guilty about ordering food, and giving them an option can only mean more business. Our goal is to keep single use takeout containers out of our landfills in the next 12 months. The program is simple and costs nothing to trial.
