I'm passionate about the construction industry and dedicated to assembling teams that can create, deliver and maintain spaces that inspire and enhance the lives of those who use them, and add value to those who are invested in them. With 20 years of experience in commercial and industrial fitout and refurbishment, I have an acquired ability to understand the clients project requirements outside of the expected time, cost, quality and safety requirements. Owners and occupiers have different and very unique project requirements, and it is my duty to get to the bottom of those and ensure the client has the right team assembled to ensure their expectations are exceeded.Throughout my career, I have been involved in the design, construction and maintenance of end user fitouts for some of Australia’s leading businesses and commercial and industrial occupiers. I have also worked for some of Australia’s leading institutional property investors and their asset management teams to ensure their facilities remain relevant, viable and attractive in the ever competitive commercial and industrial leasing markets. These opportunities have allowed me to gain an acute understanding of the levers that drive this corner of the construction industry, but also to establish, build and maintain a network of delivery partners who are equally as passionate in supporting our clients in achieving their project goals.Currently, I am the Founder and Managing Director at Saikel, which is one of South-East Queensland’s newest and innovative fitout and refurbishment specialists. In this capacity, I am responsible for the strategic direction and growth of the company while still taking an active role in all stages of our client's projects, from initial design briefing through to construction and ultimately handover and occupation. I thrive in collaborative and team-oriented environments, and I am always seeking new challenges and relationships that allow me to push the boundaries and deliver exceptional results.When I'm not immersed in my professional pursuits, you can find me spending time with my family or cycling.
