I am currently overseeing the maintenance operations as the Maintenance Manager with Sofidel America at the Duluth Mill. Previously i spent 7-½ years applying my engineering skills in a field reliability engineering role, where I have been able to assist Barko Hydraulics with data and information that allowed for them to improve their forestry products year over year. During my time at Barko Hydraulics, I spearheaded and assisted in the development of a product that has allowed me to have my name on a patent with the USPTO. I also have critical management and engineering experience in the ‘hot side’ operations of the ME Global foundry in Duluth, MN. This included the Melt and Pouring Departments. There, I was able to help the company achieve its safety, production, planning, and quality goals. I also have experience in the production and shipping sides of the paper industry, Where I was able to become involved with various automated machinery, and some maintenance work. quality control has also been a big part of my experience in the paper industry. I also have experience in the personal and professional sides of the powersports and automotive industry, where I worked as a shop technician.
