About James Hulderman

I grew up on Burt Lake in Northern Michigan. My mother, a registered nurse, inspired me to seek a career in medicine. My father, a carpenter, gave me an eye for design and restoration. The result, I believe, lead me to a career in dentistry. After graduating from Inland Lakes High School, in Indian River Michigan. I completed my pre-dental work at Northern Michigan University. Then attend the University of Michigan for dental school. In 2019, I started my dental career as an Associate dentist at Grandview Dental Care in Traverse City Michigan. In 2022 my business Partner and fellow dentist, Dr. Natasha Faucher, and I purchased Grandview Dental from Dr. Whiting. We look forward to continuing the excellent care that Grandview has offered the Grand Traverse Community for over 30 years. Outside of the office, you may find me: Skiing, Sailing, competing in triathlon, or Cooking. Growing up in rural Northern Michigan gave me a passion for the outdoors. Summers between undergraduate semesters I cooked on professional kitchen lines. I learned a lot about hard work in a fast-paced kitchen and honed skills in time management. I have drawn on many of these hobbies and skills while in the dental field!
